The ECM group head, PID, and pressure adjustment knob give baristas greater control and flexibility over their espresso.
The round blue mechanical gauge at the top front give the machine it's distinct character. It displays the pump pressure.
The LED display below serves as a shot timer and also allows programming of the PID boiler temperature, a reminder for group cleaning, activation of eco mode and more settings.
The blue rotary pressure adjustment valve, inspired by the concept of an over-pressure valve (OPV), allows for a pressure adjustment for extraction. You can adjust the brewing pressure from 8.5 to 12 bar to your liking.
This valve is not a pressure profiling valve.
The superior ECM group head is based on the legendary E61 group which has been improved in many details to ensure temperature stability and an extended lifespan. It can be equipped with a pressure control valve for pressure profiling. This valve is available as an accessory.
