1. Pressure adjustment rotary valve

The blue pressure adjustment rotary valve is inspired by the concept of an external over pressure valve (OPV) and allows you to actively adjust the pressure during the extraction process. With your thumb and forefinger, you can adjust the brewing pressure from 8.5 to 12 bar to your liking.

Utilizing the symmetry in the design, the brewing pressure gauge in the same blue color with bold white lettering is positioned symmetrically with the pressure valve, creating a harmonious and visually pleasing layout.

2. PID temperature controller

The PID controller - the control center of the ECM Puristika - allows you to set your desired brewing temperature with an accuracy of ~1 degree (Fahrenheit or Celsius). In addition to controlling and regulating the water tank, it also functions as a brewing timer, allows you to set reminders for cleaning the machine, and allows you to program Puristika's Eco Mode.

3. Multi-position water tank

Inspired by creative engineering designs, ECM has separated the water tank from the rest of the machine. Connected via a steel-coated water tube and a return water tube, the 2-liter glass water tank can be positioned as desired at the back or sides of the Puristika.

4. Compact design

With a width of just 20cm, the ECM Puristika is one of the most compact espresso machines you can find. Due to its compact size, the ECM Puristika espresso machine can be placed anywhere from the kitchen to the dining room or living room.
