Ginger and Turmeric Herbal Tea

Ingredients:

  • Fresh ginger
  • Fresh turmeric
  • Filtered water
  • Honey
  • Fresh lemon (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare ingredients: Wash, peel, and thinly slice the ginger and turmeric. Juice the lemon.
  2. Boil: Add the ginger, turmeric, and a sufficient amount of water to a pot and boil for about 10-15 minutes.
  3. Steep: After boiling, let the tea steep for about 5-7 minutes to allow the nutrients from the ginger and turmeric to infuse into the water.
  4. Strain: Use a strainer to remove the ginger and turmeric residue.
  5. Enjoy: Pour the tea into a cup and add honey and lemon juice (if using) to taste. Enjoy hot or cold.
