BWT Best Care S Filter Cartridges

The Bestcare S from BWT water + more is used wherever the raw water has a disturbing smell and a foreign taste. Bacteria and the finest particles reliably retain the filter system. The BWT bestcare S can be used for water dispensers and vending machines with low carbon hardness (lime). The filter system is designed for the cold water area!

 Function of the filter

1.  Use

Water treatment system for reducing bacteria, cryptosporidium, giardia and particles and improving taste and odour of drinking water. A combination of activated carbon block and ultrafiltration membrane - ideal for use in water dispensers.

2. Design

The tap water (A) is entering the filter cartridge and the water is filtered by an activated carbon-block (B). Particles, dissolved organic matter, natural colorants and substances responsible for bad taste and odours e.g. chlorine are removed.
Then the water is filtered by a dead-end hollow fibre ultra filtration (C) membrane for bacteria removal. The filter is also equipped with a small amount of silver for bacteriostatic reasons.
