With a Melitta® Pro Aqua water filter, the Barista TS Smart® only needs to be descaled once a year. Filtered water not only enhances the coffee's quality and taste but also prevents limescale buildup in the water system. (Based on brewing six 120ml cups of coffee per day and changing the filter six times according to the appliance's specifications).

4. New Brewing Technology

The Barista TS Smart's bean-to-cup technology ensures that the coffee grounds are freshly ground and used immediately. Auto Grind Quantity - The grinder grinds only the amount of coffee required for each brew, ensuring that each cup of coffee is brewed with fresh grounds and its flavor is not compromised by leftover coffee powder. The special seal on the lids of the two Aromasafe® bean hoppers guarantees a truly fresh cup of coffee every time. The light-blocking bean hoppers also help preserve the flavor of the coffee beans.

Note: After changing coffee types, a few beans from the previous type may remain in the grinder. To use up the remaining coffee in the grinder, it may be necessary to brew an additional three cups - depending on the coffee strength - to change to the new coffee type.
