The XT8 is in the premium level of the XT family which is a modular system with add-on components such as milk fridge, cup shelf, payment systems, syrup flavouring systems.
The machine can deliver up to 200 espresso per hour as peak load. It is recommeded for an average of 370 cups per day. The standard version comes with a central dispenser and a seperate hot water outlet for tea.
The XT8 features a 8.4 inch touch screen display. The display has a self service and a waiter mode to optimize the user friendliness.
The system is ready for the New Melitta INSIGHTS fleet management software so all parameters of operation can be monitored from a remote computer.
The screen saver and the color of the dispenser lights can be programmed.
The XT8 comes with a an advanced milk system for perfect cappuccinos and cafe latte. The milk system with a milk pump and advanced controls allows to adjust milk foam density and temperature, dispense warm or cold fresh milk traditional or vegan milk. There is not limit of creativity for even the most challenging recipes.
Premium components ensure lasting performance: The stainless steel brewing unit for up to 20gr of coffee has a high tamping pressure to ensure perfect extraction.
The grinder has 75 mm grinding discs made from tool steel for long lasting performance.
Thanks to the micro-fine sieve, the XT8 can grind extremely finely and can therefore create an intense aroma with less coffee powder.
The XT8 features an automatic grinder adjustment (ACS) so there will be no manual check necessary. The regular cleaning of an automatic machine is important to maintain coffee and milk foam quality. Melitta makes it easy for staff to handle this task: Fully automatic cleaning of the brewing and milk system directly in the machine. Nothing has to be removed or taken apart. It’s as simple as that: quick, safe and certified HACCP hygienic.
