WHAT IS A BARISTA?

Barista is often mistaken for a bartender. So what do we need to become a true Barista?

Barista is a bartender based on the variety and variation of coffee. They interact with coffee unlike a normal job but also as a friend. You can ask them everything related to coffee from the history of the formation, selective harvesting process, roasting temperature, formulation and how to enjoy a cup of coffee ...

At some point, Barista is a coffee magician. Because coffee is a special art, it is a harmonious combination of senses, knowledge of the rich variety of coffee and the skill of a Barista.

In the world, coffee is the second most traded commodity after oil. With the trend of fast growing coffee chains, big cafes are not hard to understand why Barista is a hot job today.

Catching up on those trends, Cubes Asia - the distributor and supplier of the leading European blenders and cafeterias in Vietnam - is keen to bring all Barista experiences to the training courses. Training at the 4C Barista Center as follows:

Summary of Barista Trainer Experience:

  • 7 years of experience in the coffee industry
  • Formerly Head Barista at Shin Coffee
  • Previously worked as a quality manager for The Coffee House chain
  • 3 years experience in Barista training
  • Barista Skills certification granted by Specialty Coffee Association (SCA)

BARISTA BASIC

Only one session will give you a glimpse of the coffee market in the world as well as in Vietnam today and help you to have a basic orientation of Barista.
  • Time: 1 session x 180 minutes
  • Number of participants: 8 - 10 people
  • Course fees include manual docs and practice materials
BARISTA ADVANCE

BARISTA ADVANCE

Re-orientate Barista for those who have basic knowledge. Extend the knowledge as well as how to overcome the common mistakes in the daily work of Barista.
  • Time: 2 sessions x 240 minutes
  • Number of participants: 6 people
  • Course fees include manual docs and practice materials
BARISTA PRO

BARISTA PRO

For those who especially love the coffee mix. BARISTA PRO will equip you with all the necessary knowledge about coffee and blending skills. Helping you have a more specific orientation to become a professional Barista.
  • Time: 12 sessions x 150 minutes
  • Number of participants: 6 people
  • Course fees include manual docs and practice materials
